Maroon 5 - It Wont Be Soon Before Long

By: Ara
It's been 5 long years, and Maroon 5 has finally come back to our radio stations and iPods better than ever with their sophmore album (since being signed) It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Experimenting with new sounds and beats, along with using influences from legendary artists like Queen, Prince, and Michael Jackson, to name a few, Maroon 5 have really proved themselves. Each song showcases a different aspect of each band member, from Adam Levine's (vocal) impeccable falsetto, Matt Flynn's (drums) cool beats, Jesse Carmichael's (keyboard) awesome synth skills, to latest addition James Valentine (guitar) who has definitely proved his talent.
Maroon 5's latest album shows that no matter what style, they can pull it off, from slow ballads like Infatuation, to upbeat dance tunes like my personal favorite Little of Your Time, you are guaranteed to find at least one song to suit any mood! Anyone can find something they like on this album.
Recommendations:
"Make Me Wonder" - If you haven't already heard their newest single, you are definitely missing out on this awesome song which actually makes you feel good about a breakup.
"Little Of Your Time" - With a little latin spice, this song is one that you can't help but groove to. (Avoid listening in public places to avoid embarassment!)
"Nothing Lasts Forever" - When you first hear the chorus you might ask yourself, "Where have I heard this song before?" It reminds you of their previous hit, Sunday Morning. This slow song perfectly showcases Maroon 5's ability to pull off any style.
