Puddle of Mudd - Famous

Puddle of Mudd has always been one of my favorite bands. They just finally came out with a new CD, "Famous." Its their best
one yet in my opinion and has a wide variety of songs. There past albums were good, but this one beats them by far. The other
albums just didn't have as much of a variety as this one. The bands first album, Come Clean came out in 2002. It was a good
CD with some really good songs on it such as "Blurry" and "Control". Their second CD, Life On Display (2003) contains one of
my favorite songs, "Spin you Around". Now, their second CD didn't really have much of a variety and most songs weren't too
catchy. This third album though, Famous (2007), contains many good songs such as "Famous" and "Psycho". Puddle of Mudd has
come a long way since there first album and this one can only be described as 'outrageously awesome.'
It's just one of those albums that has a song for any mood your in. The album is of course, rock filled from the first track
on the album, "Famous," to the very last lyrics of "If I Could Love You." Everything really flows. In your teen life you go
through many things: wishing to be someone your not, doubting yourself, not wanting to put up with others bullshit, even
finding your first love and everything that comes along with it (drama, life lessons, friendship.) This album has a song for
almost everything you go through in life as a teen so almost everyone can relate to it.
I can listen to this album constantly, whether I'm driving home, doing homework, or just rockin' out with my friends. Every
song has something I can relate to. I just love the high energy songs that lead into the nice slow pace songs. This CD will
forever be on my iTunes play list, every song, every single minute of it.
Recommendations:
"We Don't Have to Look Back Now" - It's a song for people who have gone through a lot in a relationship and have come out
of it together stronger than ever. Basically, a "no regrets, no one can take us down" type of thing. It's one of my favorites off
the CD. It's uplifting and makes you feel like you can do anything.
"Radiate" - Just a song about second thoughts and taking chances. It's also about people who are thinking about
"breaking up" or "taking a break". I know everyone has second thoughts and are sometimes afraid of taking the chance to just
let go, but its just something you have to do whether you like it or not.
"Moonshine" - It's a fast paced song about not taking life or relationships too fast because you might miss
everything thats good. Just take a second and slow things down, take a minute to think about everything. The chorus is
one that gets stuck in my head. I'm someone who loves life and everything about it so sometimes it does fly by like no other.
So I hear this song and it reminds me that I only have one life so don't take it too fast.
"Psycho" Best song of all time. I kinda wish it wasn't there single off the album only because I didn't want it to
become too "overplayed". The lead singer's voice is amazing, especially at the beginning of the song. The music is
hilarious and awesome, it fits perfectly with the song.
