Aly & AJ, aka Alyson and Amanda Joy, are a pop duo you just can't help but love. Even if you don't enjoy their music
all that much, the two of them are so sweet you kind of wish they were your friends. They've liked both acting and
singing all their lives and just recently dived into that world a few years ago. Getting their start on kid audience
powerhouse, the Disney Channel, the two went on to release their own studio album in 2005. This duo is even ready to
release their next album titled "Insomniatic" which you can pick up now!
Recommendations:
"Shine" - An uplifting song about a guy who basically makes her world a brighter place. It's a nice message and you're left with a good feeling when you finish listening to it.
"Potential Breakup Song" - I'm not ashamed to say that this song is my newest addiction. The beat and subtle synths are perfect for that song. Aly and AJ really do a great job here creating a song that's both high energy and fun to listen to. Check out the video too. It's eye-candy!
"Like Whoa" - You can't get this song until the album comes out, but the wait's not long so don't worry. It's got more of a techno vibe to it, with synths and a lot of vocal manipulation. Some people like that, others like me, love it!
"Rush" - I can't really not put this song on the list because it's the one that they broke into the music scene with. Another good message here with the same pop/rock sound that everyone can enjoy.
