Bedlight for Blue Eyes
By: Angelique Bedlight for Blue Eyes fans went crazy back in 2006, when singer Christian Guerrero left the band in March 2006 after "internal issues." After all the turmoil settled down, and fans were assured and reassured that the band was not going to break up, the four remaining Bedlight boys set off to find a new vocalist. By April 2006, Danny Rinaldi had been added to the roster, and later on a new bassist, Joe Oliger, making an incredible band once again. Mix thoughtful lyrics and melodies, and you've got Bedlight for Blue Eyes. These five guys, straight out of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, are sure to get you hooked. Young, new vocalist Danny Rinaldi will have you singing right along with him as he belts out with a voice and lyrics that will captivate you. Their debut album, "The Dawn," was released in 2005, with previous singer Christian and the previous bassist, James. Sophomore album "Life on Life's Terms" was released July 2007, bringing the Bedlight boys "back with a vengeance." Recommendations:
"Ephemeral Addictions" - Probably the most popular Bedlight for Blue Eyes song from "The Dawn." Showcasing the smooth, amazing voice of long-gone Christian, this song talks about a short-lived relationship that's now over. However, make sure you catch the original from "The Dawn," as the new version with Danny on the Waste My Time EP just doesn't sound as good. "Waste My Time" - The song that was released in the EP, the first original song to be sung by Danny Rinaldi, also on "Life on Life's Terms." Another catchy song about a relationship. "Whole Again" - Another song on "Life on Life's Terms," and probably one of my favorites. You can interpret and word it how you want, but to me it's just that internal struggle that a person goes through, and then just finds that the strength to go through it all is just inside them.
