Black Eyed Peas

Most hip-hop groups only dream of becoming as big as The Black Eyed Peas. The lineup consists of Will.i.am, Fergie, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo. With such funky names you'd expect a funky sound. There you're right. The Black Eyed Peas have a sound that's high-energy and all party that just begs to be played at full volume. Their party music makes you WANT to party. Their debut album as a four-person group, "Elephunk," became hugely popular and even won them a Grammy. Their latest album, "Monkey Business" just takes everything from Elephunk and makes it ten times better. With so many guilty pleasures deriving from this single group, why not just admit you like them?

Recommendations:
"Let's Get it Started" - Well, this track was orignally called "Let's Get Retarded," but people found that to be offensive somehow. (Eh.) So "Let's Get it Started" was the version you would've heard on the radio. There are so many layers to the song that it's almost hard to sing along to. But the challenge makes it all the more fun.

"Dum Diddly" - This catchy ditty is another one of my favorites. There's not much else to say about it rather than the fact that it'll get stuck in your head instantly.

"Don't Lie" - Perfect for the summer! It's got a smooth beat and Fergie's vocals really suit the song well. It's still got that calssic vibe The Black Eyed Peas have, it's just toned down a tiny bit. tiny.

"Shut Up" - Probably one of the best song intros I can think of. Who would have thought "shut up" can be said so many times in such a catchy way? The song tells a story and that makes it even more interesting.
