Coldplay

Unquestionably one of the best alternative bands of all time. Coldplay has become one the artists to see live in concert and for good reason. This band is talented and has over the years created songs that will always be remembered. Uplifting yet mellow, Coldplay's style is distinguished and respected. This brit-band has had three successful albums, all of which are critically acclaimed. "Speed of Sound," the first single off their newest album, "X&Y," topped the charts worlwide.

Recommendations:
"Clocks" - One of Coldplay's biggest songs and their most successul track off their "A Rush of Blood to the Head." This song topped charts everywhere with it's release and made Coldplay's second album larger than it's first.

"Fix You" - Truly uplifting. This song will actually make you feel better after listening to it. The chorus is inspiring and the peak of the song is grand. Be sure to see the video for this song, it includes footage from one of their live performances of this song. Seeing the crowd singing with Martin at the ending of the song, wow, monumental.
