The Dresden Dolls

There's nothing quite like The Dresden Dolls. You won't find another band as striking that sounds like them (well maybe Le Tigre, but that's a bit of a stretch) and you won't find another band as vaudelaire as they are with their crazy costumes and antics (except maybe Panic! At The Disco). It's a shame that Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione didn't strike it big until their summer 2006 tour with Panic! At The Disco. Since then, the duo have gone on to release another album, "Yes, Virginia" (2006) and have pursued solo acts. But now, The Dresden Dolls are once again back together and are planning to hit the road on another tour in the near future.
Recommendations:
"Backstabber" - Okay so maybe the only reason I like this song is because Panic! At The Disco is in the youtube only music video. Or, of course, it could be the fact that the song in itself is extremely catchy.
"Coin Operated Boy" - So there's about 20 different versions of this song floating out there on the internet, and really, none of them have managed to disappoint while each still carries its own unique flavor; however, in my opinion, nothing beats the original.
"Girl Anachronism" - It's one of their most popular and for good reason. It's really catchy and the way it's sung almost gives you chills.
