Fatboy Slim
By: S6 Staff - lz. God I love this guy! His songs are so full of energy and his sound is addictive enough to make even Timbaland bow down. You've probably heard Fatboy Slim's music in tons of different places. He's been played in the motion picture "She's All That" (the dance scene!) and one of his tracks was used as the theme song to MTV's reality show "PR Girls." His songs are always clipped and chopped up thought for radio friendly lengths (most song run over 5 minutes). But if you actually take the time to listen to each song in it's entirety, you'll come to see that it's way more than the radio will ever let you enjoy. Recommendations:
"Rockafeller Skank" - Ok, so the chorus is the exactly same each time and the singing doesn't exactly scream "American Idol." But you have to hear this song! The energy in it just makes you want to dance and trust me, once you press play that's all you'll want to do until the six minutes of this wonderful song is over. "Wonderful Night" - This song is so cool, it's actually been made into a dancing track on Dance Dance Revolution Extreme. (Which I'm actually really good at playing.) The message is pretty universal and you can all relate to it. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it. "Weapon of Choice" - Surely you have to know (this music video.) Yup, this is Fatboy Slim working his funky electronic magic. Even if you don't care for the song, (which I doubt you wouldn't) you have to admit that this video is pretty darn cool.
