Imogen Heap

This electro pop artist has just recently flooded the music boards, becoming popular with people across the world. The solo artist Imogen Heap, also known as Frou Frou is a very unique style. light, and yet fun to listen to.

I personally like her because she is not the same old voice you hear over and over in some areas of the music spectrum. If you hear a song, it is an automatic response to think of her if she sings it. She has a soothing voice, and yet is extremely original in her work. Some of her first songs included shine and blanket. Imogen Heap, that being her real name, explains about her music: "this is my life up until now, it's frustrations, the joy and anger."

Recommendations:
"Speeding Cars" - Probably my favorite song by imogen heap. it makes perfect sense if you listen to it, but in a strange way. This slowly rising beat has something you can bob your head to! :D

"Goodnight And Go" - Very light and airy, this song by Imogen Heap is another one of my favorite songs. Her voice shows range and smoothness. This song is good to relax to, yet good still for all occasions.

"Headlock" - This song changes tempo quite a bit and it leaves you wanting to listen to it over and over. The music is very plain, but her voice acts as yet another instrument. Definitely something to drag onto your ipod.
