I remember the first time I heard Jet. Their single "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" was featured on one of those infamous iPod commercials years back. I could say I knew about Jet "way before everyone else" but that would be a lie. Thank god for that commercial though! Jet has since then become one of my favorite rock groups. The Australia band released their debut album, "Get Born" in 2003 and went on to become radiostars with the help of the infectious, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl." They gained tons of awards down under and quickly built themselves a name here in the States. From songs that rock loud to ballads that uplift, Jet has got it all.

Recommendations:
"Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" - I'm sure you get the message here. The chorus is really what draws me to this song the most. It's got so much energy you almost don't know what to do with it. Breaking objects might be a good solution.

"Shine On" - The leading track off their newest album, "Shine On" is your classic ballad all full of fuzzy thoughts and warm feelings. Regardless of your opinion about ballads, it's still a pretty nice song.

"Rollover D.J" - Well damn. If I was a music artist, and I was at some party/club, I'd want them to play my song. Agreed right? Give this one a listen.

"Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" - I can't just leave this one off the list. One of their most addictive songs to date, this one is a must have from Jet.
