Justin Timberlake

We first met Justin Timberlake as a member of *NSYNC. In 2002, Justin desided to cut off his curls and go solo. His debut solo album, Justified, was released November 5th, 2005. He produced many hits including "Rock Your Body," "Seņorita," and "Cry Me A River." After the success of Justified, Justin seemed to have dropped out of the music world. Besides appearing in Snoop Dogg's "Signs," no one heard much from Timberlake until 2006 came along.

In 2006, Justin released his new single "SexyBack." Timberlake's song became a hit. Fast. Before you knew it, everywhere you went people were singing "I'm bringin' sexy back." So, naturally, when his 2nd album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, came out it was a huge hit. It was released September 12th, 2006 and it debuted at number one in the US charts with 684,000 copies sold on it's first week. Since then, the album has sold 5 million + copies worldwide, proving this was anything but a sophmore slump. Since "SexyBack," Justin has also continued his streak of hits with "Let Me Talk To You/My Love" and his latest "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around." Clearly, Justin's career is going nowhere but up.

Recommendations:
"FutureSex/LoveSound" - The title track of the album does a good job in setting the mood for the album. With a beat that makes you want to get up and dance, this is a great song to listen to.

"LoveStoned/I Think She Knows" - This is one of the more upbeat songs on the album. In the beginning, this song holds a fast-pased beat. Though, near the end of the song, it starts to fade into a slow, sadder version of the beginning.

"What Goes Around.../...Comes Around" -Justin himself admitted this to be one of the best songs he's ever written. Though not an upbeat song, it's still a great track. In the beginning, there's a sad tone in Justin's voice, which later (in the end) becomes more of an 'I told you so.'
