This hardcore band from Boston, Mass. is one of a kind. Because not only do they make awesome music but they have true p
ersonality. Each band member is hilarious with their different onstage antics all while being incredible musicians.
They have 4 CDs all of which get better and better (it’s true!). Howard’s voice is like no other and in between
screams he is able to somehow make each chorus catchy. I personally love this band because the music (lyrics, singing,
guitar, drumming, bass, live show) is just altogether really good.
Recommendations:
“The Element of One” – starts off slow then breaks into a catchy hardcore beat. The lyrics are about
sacrificing everything you have for the one you love. The singer is actually the band’s former singer who does
just a good a job as new singer, Howard.
“The End of Heartache” – Nominated for a grammy. What hardcore band do you know, that gets nominated for a
grammy? ‘Nough said.
“This is Absolution” – from their latest CD. The lyrics are about staying strong through a depressing time.
Lots of goosebumps.
ALSO!, be sure to check out their DVD. It’s entitled “Set This World Ablaze” and it features a full live concert
as well as a documentary (which will have you on the floor laughing).
