My Chemical Romance's third album is undeniably their greatest and most epic album to date. "The Black Parade" is a monumental sounding album with dark lyrics, addictive songs, and catchy choruses. It's been on almost every "albums to buy now" list in 2006 and has earned them more attention and fans. with the leading single "Welcome To The Black Parade," My Chemical Romance sets us all up for an unforgettable army of teen rock bombast.
Recommendations:
"Dead!" - With a dark and catchy chorus , "Dead!" stands out from most of the other songs on the album. Gerard Way sings "have you heard the news that you're dead?!" and you'll most likely find yourself singing along with him. It's addictive and his vocals are perfection.
"Teenagers" - This could just be a teen's anthem. Way sings about drugs, getting into trouble, and being forced to conform. It's amazingly catchy and with the chorus saying "those teenagers scare the living shit out of me," you'll find yourself questioning just how scary you are.
"Mama" - Yes, it's true, Liza Minneli did lend her vocals to this song. It's a dark song with a sadistic overtone. It's somewhat creepy at times, but in a good way. check this song out, I doubt you've heard anything quite like it.
