Wow. 2006 was definitely the year for OK Go. Their single "Here It Goes Again" (largely promoted by the YouTube phenomena treadmill dance) became thei most successful track to date. Their treadmill dance became one of YouTube's most viewed videos of all time, and they've since become one of the most famous pop/rock bands out there. Constant touring with such bands as "Panic! At The Disco" has earned them even more fans and a larger audience. OK Go's newest album "Oh No" has launched hit after hit. The album itself is much better than their previous album self-titled album. Look out 2007, OK Go is set to get even bigger.
Recommendations:
"Don't Ask Me" - From their previous album, "Don't Ask Me" is undoubtably my favorite song by OK Go to date. The video is eye-catching and the song is high energy with a catchy message. This song is pop/rock at it's best. Download this one now.
"You're So Damn Hot" - You don't love me at all...But you're so damn hot" boasts this song. It's a funny message, but one that you'll sing along to in no time. This is the song that got OkGo tons of attention with the first album. It's pretty much the song that kickstarted their music career to become what they are today.
"A Million Ways" - The lesser known OK Go dance video, "A Million Ways" is a greta song with a great video to boot. Youtube the title, you'll find it. This song had smooth vocals and the chorus is addictive yet catchy at the same time. Be sure to check this song out, I love it so much even my aim sn was based off of it.
also listen to: "Here It Goes Again," "Get Over It" and "Do What You Want."
