By: Bee.

Taking Back Sunday formed in 1999, in Amityville, NY , they took their version of melodic hardcore from bands like Lifetime, Endpoint, and Sunny Day Real Estate. Their previous albums are Tell All Your Friends, and Where You Want To Be, with the current album is Louder Now. Where You Want to Be went on to debut at the #3 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, with sales of around 163,000 copies. Taking Back Sunday was nominated for the MTV2 Award in the 2006 VMAs. TBS is unique and has unforgettable lyrics which will leave you craving for more.

Recommendations:
"MakeDamnSure" - The music video for this song switches between scenes of the band playing in a wind tunnel and scenes of violence and destruction. I love this song because the lyrics are just so unique, you have never heard anything like it.

"Twenty, Twenty Surgery" - The music video feautures the band playing in a prison to loads of inmates, taking ideas from Johnny Cash's infamous Prison Concert, also Adam Lazzara is dressed to resemble him. This song has a really catchy chorus and im positive you'll be listening to it over and over.

" Liar (It Takes One To Know One)" - The music video involves the band's lead singer, Adam Lazzara, being hooked up to a lie detector. The song will make you fall for taking back Sunday without a doubt. Not only is the chorus amazing the introduction is too.
