Ben Gibbard Acoustic Tour 2007

Concert Name/Year: Ben Gibbard Acoustic Tour/ May 14, 2007

Pros: The venue was classic, cozy, intimate, small, and just perfect for this concert. We were able to stand right in front of him. Most of the time we were singing LOUDER than he was (it was an acoustic show). I would have to say that the biggest pro was when he played 3 Postal Service songs. Yes, it’s true and it was amazing.

Cons:
Cons: It was incredibly hot in the venue. And I personally don’t respond well to that. Furthermore, this was the second time that I’ve waited till the AM hours to meet Ben Gibbard and he has yet to come out to greet his fans (not to say that he doesn’t meet & greet elsewhere). So that was sad.

Experiences:
HOWEVER, we got one of his crew to go onto the bus with some pens and paper and I STILL got his autograph :D. Oh and singing back up vocals and it totally working because we were so close.

Rating:
9.5 I love anything and everything Death Cab and even though he got –0.5 because he won’t leave his bus ever…the concert was absolutely great.
