Deftones & The Fall of Troy Tour 2007

Artist: Deftones & The Fall of Troy

Concert Name/Year: May 15th & 16th, 2007

Pros: Brand new venue! Nice, clean, pretty, good size, perfect temperature. Anyway, on to the music! Personally, I really like the Fall of Troy and this was my 4th time seeing them so I was definitely showing my love for them. They played for about 30-40 minutes then time for the Deftones. The next 2 hours was probably one of the best times I’ve seen them. THEN on the 16th, they were in town again so of course I went. The Fall of Troy played a couple of different songs then the ‘Tones to the stage again. Biggest pro of the 2 nights? The Deftones played my absolute favorite song of theirs (a b-side from White Pony) on the 2nd night. I’ve seen them 12 times and this is the first time they played it live (that I’ve seen). I died and went to heaven :D

Cons:
No cameras! Boo!

Experiences:
Didn’t get to meet them but I got a setlist right from Chi’s amp on the 2nd night :D

Rating:
10. But they’re my favorite band so I’m a little biased.

Final Thoughts: I loved the 2 nights in a row thing. It gave them the opportunity to play a smaller venue without it selling out. I doubt they’ll ever do it again but it was nice while it lasted.
