Customizing Cutenews:
Chances are, the default Cutenews style doesn't quite fit with your site. You can customize it to your site very easily actually. When you're logged into Cutenews, select the "Options" link from your menu bar and then click "Edit Templates" from that list:

There will be different parts of the system that you can change up. There's "Active News," "Full Story," "Comment," "Add Comment Form," "News Pagination," and "Comments Pagination." Be careful when you're editing these. One mistake and your entire Cutenews could be affected. Best advice is to copy and save all these sections beore editing them.
Trust me, this could be very handy sometime down the line.
The Breakdown:
Here's what each section controls:
Active News: This controls the look of the front page news. This is what the news looks like
before anyone clicks the "add comment" or "view full story" link.
Full Story: This controls what the news looks like
after someone clicks the "add comment" or "view full story" link. (Most people have both these sections look the same. You can edit the html accordingly.)
Comment: This part controls what your news' comments will look like. I suggest modifying the html here very carefully. Stick to basic html for now until you feel you can successully create a more complex div class.
Add Comment Form: Very simply-put, this controls the section where people add their comments. You can modify the comment box and the details around it here. Again, be very careful here. Copy and save this code before you even touch it. I've personally messed up this section three times, each one creating problems with people trying to leave comments.
News Pagination: Nothing too fancy, this just controls the look of links to navigate your way through the different news stories.
Comments Pagination: If you choose to have only a certain number of comments show up at a time with your news, this section controls what those links will look like.
Hopefully you now have a better understanding on how to customize the look of your news. I always find that knowing
what each section controls is helpful in editing them. Good luck!
